Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Asteryx, provided by [Legal entity name] (“Asteryx”, “we”). An organization that signs up (the “Customer”) and every person it invites (a “User”) agree to them. A signed order form or master agreement with the Customer takes precedence where it differs.
1. Accounts
- The person who creates an organization confirms they are authorised to bind it to these terms and the Data Processing Addendum.
- Users keep their credentials confidential, use multi-factor authentication where required, and tell their administrator about suspected misuse.
- Customers are responsible for the roles they assign and for their Users' activity in their workspace.
2. Acceptable use
Don't break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malware, attempt to access another organization's data, probe or overload the service outside an agreed security test, or resell the service without our agreement.
3. Customer data
The Customer owns its data. We process it only to provide, secure and support the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum. The Customer can export its data at any time while subscribed and for 30 days after termination, after which it is deleted except where the law requires retention.
4. Travel bookings and vendors
Asteryx routes requests, policies and approvals. Quotes, bookings and tickets are provided by the travel vendors involved, on their own terms; invoices issued by a vendor are that vendor's.
5. AI features
Optional AI assistants only draft or answer; nothing is saved without a User confirming it. Users should review drafts — they can be wrong.
6. Fees
Fees, seats and billing terms are set in the Customer's plan or order form. Taxes are extra where applicable.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and secure and may change features over time; we will not materially reduce core functionality during a paid term without notice.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access to stop a security threat or serious breach of these terms, with notice where possible. Either party may terminate as set out in the Customer's plan or order form.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and each party's total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [city] have jurisdiction, unless an order form says otherwise.
